These are really fun to make and to use. This particular set was custom made for a dear friend and gifted to her. They're just lightweight plastic beads, but that way they don't weigh down the knitting! :)

Found a give-a-way to share with you!

So I'm be-bopping around the web this morning and don't even know where I found out about it to be completely honest.  Probably on Ravelry.  Someone posted that there is a give-a-way of 3 XRX books on the Knit Purl Gurl Blog!!  Yay!!!  They are actually giving away 2 (yes, I said 2!!) sets of 3 books to a random commenter on the blog.  The books are:   Entree to Entrelac by Gwen Bortner, Magnificent Mittens & Socks by the amazing Anna Zilboorg, and Think Outside the Sox which are 60 (!!) winning entries in a Knitter's Magazine contest.  I am so happy to share the website URL so you can go and compete with me  enter too!

Everyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for a good knitting book.  And these three books?  Well, I'd love to own all 3!  But if you win them instead of me, please consider loaning me the sock book.  :)  I'd love to read it if I can't own it!  Lol.  And I haven't bought it yet....
